Products:
Chemical grade limestone (calcium
carbonate) in coarse (8 mesh to 20 mesh), medium (20 mesh to
200 mesh), and fine (325 mesh) sizes. All products are available in
bulk quantities; medium grade products are also available in bags.
Shipment:
Truck and Rail (BNSF) available.
Production:
Open-pit mining in the Edwards Limestone Formation, known for its
chemical purity and consistency. Reserves are in excess of 100 million
tons. Crawford is unique in its having two parallel production
circuits. Each circuit, or plant, is independent and includes separate
dryer and production systems. Each plant can produce identical
products, allowing total in-plant back-up and assurance of product
availability.
